With thousands of model kits and materials to choose from you’re bound to find just what you need… That’s if these model kits were complete, not mixed and scattered about in a junkyard of assorted parts along with a variety of everyday items.
Model Makers is a competition show that challenges the most innovative designers, model makers and diorama artists in the nation to design, create and build from scratch a model or diorama scene from a variety of themed challenges. The weekly themed challenges will steer the contestant’s imagination to design and build the most insane models anyone has ever seen. Our Host and our guest expert model makers will judge each episode’s competition challenges of who can build, from scratch, the most unique and detailed models. All builds must display workable parts like working lights, doors that open, sirens that blast and any other bells and whistles they can add to impress the judges.
Planes, trains and automobiles model kits along with everyday items are all mixed in a gumbo soup of plastic and metal parts called the Model Makers Mystery Parts Box (MMMPB) Each episode the team of model makers will have a certain amount of time to design, sort through their parts, build and complete their models. Each episode one team will be eliminated. But if the judges feel that any of the other teams are lacking in design and build; they too can be put up for elimination.
Their creative adult minds will be challenged as they struggle to create the ultimate build and are transported back to their childhood when they first began building models but this time…Directions are NOT included.
